Accounting for Small Businesses

Understanding Your Business Financial Situation
The Accounting for Small Businesses training program provides you with the basics of record keeping and bookkeeping. These are the first steps you need to learn before we begin to instruct you to create, produce and understand your financial situation with financial statements.

The class is 4 hours with a 15 minute break. The class includes exercises allowing the participant to practice what they are learning in class and allows student to ask questions of the instructor. 


Bookkeeping Basics & Record Keeping

  • Accounting practices
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping
  • Understanding of IRS Record keeping requirements
  • Creating your Chart of Accounts


Understanding Your Financial Statements

  • What are Financial statements?
  • Profit & Loss statement
  • Cash flow projections
  • Balance sheet statement
  • Financing your business

Fee: $165 - Pre-registration required. Space limited.--NO drop-in.
